Slack Hollow Farm has been a family run diversified vegetable farm since 1985. Seth Jacobs, Martha Johnson and crew grow and market NOFA-NY Certified organic produce grown in the fertile upland (hills) of beautiful Washington County, NY.

We grow for taste! Our goal is to grow the tastiest, healthiest produce possible. With food this good kids and adults can't help but eat for their health.

OUR FARMING PRACTICES
We have been a certified organic farm for 19 years. We farm without the use of synthetic pesticides. The basis of our farming system is the cultivation of healthy soil, which grows healthy crops. Our use of local, natural sources of fertility promote a healthy environment and helps sustain a strong local farm economy.
WINTER GROWING
We are excited about offering our produce year round. We have been growing spinach in an unheated greenhouse for the past 5 years. With the addition of a new minimally heated hoop-house we are able to offer more diversity of greens at our winter market.
